Certified Quality

After obtaining ISO 9001:2008 Certification in 2012 in sector EA17 for “mechanical and carpentry work, light and heavy, for third parties,” in 2014 Officine Zorzo achieved the goal of UNI EN ISO 14001: 2004 certification for the company’s Environmental Management.

Since 2012, the Italian Institute of Welding, has qualified the welding procedures of our Carpentry in accordance with the UNI EN ISO 15614-1:2012. Our welders hold Qualification Certificates for electric arc welding and TIG , issued by the IIS CERT Italian Institute of Welding. .

Pursuing in a spirit of certified business management, the Company has transitioned to the 2015 edition of the most recognized International Standards. Indeed, in 2018 Officine Zorzo obtained Certifications according to the standards UNI EN ISO 9001:2015 and UNI EN ISO 14001:2015 .

State-of-the-art instrumentation

Inside the Zorzo Workshops is a room designated for dimensional inspection of machined components. The accuracy of the controls is ensured by ‘the use of leading measuring instruments such as Zeiss, Aberlink, Mahr, Mitutoyo and Faro.

In addition to dimensional inspections, nondestructive testing of materials is carried out by ultrasonic, liquid penetrant and magnetoscopic inspections by qualified operators.
